Call us at (713) 218-8120, email info@gridhifi.com , or visit the showroom. Our advisers will talk through your space, how you use it, and what you want to achieve — with no obligation. The showroom lets you hear systems before any decisions are made.

AV Receivers & Home Theater Receivers

An AV receiver is the heart of a modern home theater, combining surround-sound processing, multi-channel amplification, HDMI switching, music streaming and system control in one component. At The Grid HiFi, we offer high-performance AV receivers for everything from 5.1 surround systems to sophisticated Dolby Atmos and DTS home theaters.

Dolby Atmos, 8K & HDMI 2.1

Modern AV receivers support immersive audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS, with models available for a wide range of speaker and height-channel configurations.

Premium receivers can also support technologies including HDMI 2.1, 8K, 4K/120Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR, eARC, VRR and ALLM, making them ideal for movies, streaming and modern gaming systems.

Room Correction & Multi-Subwoofer Systems

Advanced AV receivers can include sophisticated room correction, speaker calibration and bass management to optimize performance for your speakers and listening environment.

Depending on the model, technologies such as Dirac Live and Audyssey MultEQ XT32 can help optimize speaker levels, timing, crossover settings and frequency response. Higher-end receivers may also provide independent control and calibration for multiple subwoofers.

Built-In Amplification with Room to Grow

Unlike an AV processor, an AV receiver includes amplification for your speakers, making it a streamlined solution for a complete home theater.

Many higher-performance receivers also provide preamp outputs for adding external power amplifiers, allowing the system to grow as your speakers or performance requirements change.
