Marantz AV 30 – 11.4-Channel AV Preamplifier

The AV 30 serves as the control center of the system.

Its 11.4-channel processing architecture supports sophisticated immersive surround configurations while providing four independent subwoofer outputs for advanced low-frequency integration.

Surround formats include Dolby Atmos, DTS, Auro-3D, IMAX Enhanced, 360 Reality Audio, and MPEG-H.

Audyssey MultEQ XT32 & Dirac Live

Room correction is critical to achieving the performance a serious theater system is capable of delivering.

The AV 30 includes Audyssey MultEQ XT32, along with Audyssey Dynamic EQ, Dynamic Volume, and LFC.

For more advanced calibration, the AV 30 is also upgradeable to Dirac Live, providing additional tools for optimizing loudspeaker and subwoofer performance within the room.

Four Independent Subwoofer Outputs

The AV 30 provides four independent subwoofer outputs, giving a properly designed theater considerably more flexibility in low-frequency management.

Multiple subwoofers can help create more consistent bass response throughout the seating area, but simply adding more subwoofers isn't enough. Placement, delay, level, phase, crossover configuration, and room correction all need to work together.

Marantz AMP 20 – 12 Channels of Power

The AMP 20 provides 12 channels of high-performance amplification in a single chassis.

It delivers 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms under Marantz's specified test conditions and provides both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs for all 12 channels.

The AMP 20 also supports bi-amp and BTL operation, allowing its amplifier channels to be configured differently depending on the needs of the system.

In BTL mode, paired channels can deliver 400 watts into 8 ohms for demanding loudspeakers requiring additional power.

Marantz AMP 30 – Six More Channels

The AMP 30 adds another six channels of 200-watt amplification, bringing the package to a total of 18 amplifier channels.

Like the AMP 20, the AMP 30 provides both balanced and unbalanced inputs and supports bi-amp and BTL configurations.

Its six-channel architecture gives a system designer additional flexibility to allocate power where it matters most—whether that's additional surround channels, height speakers, bi-amplified front speakers, or higher-power BTL operation.

The AV 30 features a copper-plated chassis, toroidal power transformer, current-feedback topology, Marantz HDAM-SA2 circuitry, clock-jitter reduction, and gold-plated RCA terminals.

Both the AMP 20 and AMP 30 feature substantial metal construction, copper-plated chassis architecture, Marantz SPKT-1+ speaker terminals, balanced connectivity, and front-panel level meters.

The entire system is crafted in Shirakawa, Japan.
