Bassocontinuo
Bassocontinuo
Bassocontinuo brings together Italian design, advanced materials, and scientifically developed vibration control to create high-performance equipment racks and isolation solutions for serious HiFi systems. Founded in Bergamo, Italy in 2008, Bassocontinuo approaches the audio rack as an integral part of the system—engineered to provide a stable, controlled foundation for turntables, amplifiers, source components, and other high-performance electronics.
Every Bassocontinuo product is designed, developed, and manufactured in Italy, combining precision manufacturing with skilled Italian craftsmanship. The company works extensively with advanced materials including carbon fiber, Delrin®, Fenix NTA®, Technogel®, and other specialized compounds selected for their mechanical and vibration-control properties.
Performance is more than an aesthetic claim. Bassocontinuo uses both static load testing and dynamic vibration testing during product development, including testing performed with an independent laboratory specializing in vibration analysis for the automotive, aeronautical, and aerospace industries. The objective is simple: reduce unwanted vibration reaching sensitive audio components and provide them with a more stable environment in which to perform.
Designed Around the System
Bassocontinuo racks are highly modular, allowing many configurations to evolve as an audio system changes. Shelf spacing can be altered, additional levels can be added, and selected designs can be reconfigured to accommodate different component layouts. A broad selection of materials and finishes allows the rack to become part of the room's design rather than simply a place to put equipment.
For clients looking for something truly individual, B by Bassocontinuo extends this philosophy into bespoke design. Based around the company's Reference technology, the program offers extensive customization of finishes, materials, configurations, and dimensions, including completely made-to-measure solutions.
From the accessible Classic Line through the Reference and carbon-fiber Revolution X collections to the no-compromise Ultimate Line, Bassocontinuo offers solutions for systems ranging from refined two-channel installations to some of the world's most ambitious reference HiFi systems.
Bassocontinuo's commitment to Italian craftsmanship has also led to collaborations with leading high-end audio manufacturers, including an official Sonus faber x Bassocontinuo collection designed to combine advanced equipment isolation with the distinctive materials and design language of Sonus faber loudspeakers.
At The Grid, we specify Bassocontinuo racks and isolation solutions as part of complete high-performance audio systems, matching the rack configuration, dimensions, finish, and isolation requirements to the electronics and the listening environment.

FAQs
What brands do you carry?
We're authorised dealers for Focal, Naim, Goldmund, Bryston, T+A, Audio Research, Klipsch, NAD, PrimaLuna, VPI, Meze Audio, IsoAcoustics, Marantz, and more. The full list is under Shop by Brand.
Can I buy online without visiting the showroom?
Yes. The full product range is available through the online store with free nationwide shipping. For more complex system builds, speaking with one of our advisers first tends to lead to a better result.
Do you price match?
Yes. We match any authorised dealer, including big-box retailers. If you find the same product at a lower price, contact us and we'll match it.
Do you install systems as well as sell equipment?
Yes — installation is central to what we do. We design and install whole-home audio and video, home theaters, media rooms, outdoor audio, lighting and motorised shades, and full smart home automation.
I'm not sure what I need. Where do I start?
Call us at (713) 218-8120, email info@gridhifi.com, or visit the showroom. Our advisers will talk through your space, how you use it, and what you want to achieve — with no obligation. The showroom lets you hear systems before any decisions are made.
