The Essenza by Bassocontinuo Genesis Quark is a dedicated high-performance amplifier platform designed to provide power amplifiers and other substantial audio components with a stable, mechanically controlled foundation. Part of the Genesis Line, Quark combines Bassocontinuo's expertise in vibration management with clean Italian design and robust construction.

Designed and manufactured in Italy, the Quark uses four solid-steel legs, a substantial 22 mm HDF platform, and height-adjustable solid stainless-steel spikes. The result is a low-profile amplifier stand that keeps heavy electronics close to floor level while providing dedicated mechanical support and isolation.

Designed for Power Amplifiers

Large power amplifiers can place significant demands on conventional furniture and equipment racks. The Quark is purpose-built for this application, providing a 590 × 450 mm / 23.2 × 17.7 in. usable platform with a 40 kg / 88 lb load capacity.

With the platform positioned just 110 mm / 4.3 in. above floor level, the Quark provides a clean installation for substantial amplifiers while maintaining ventilation and convenient access to connections.

Harmonic Damping Resonators

Mechanical control is central to the Quark's design. Four HDR Harmonic Damping Resonators are positioned beneath the platform to help manage unwanted resonance, while rubber washers between the steel legs and shelf provide an additional layer of mechanical decoupling.

Height-adjustable stainless-steel spikes provide a precise mechanical interface with the floor, while included floor-saving discs allow the Quark to be used on finished flooring without damage.

Modular Genesis Design

The Quark shares the design language of the Genesis Proton Tower Rack, allowing the two products to create a coordinated equipment-support system. Source components, preamplifiers, DACs and other electronics can be housed in the Proton while the Quark provides a dedicated platform for a power amplifier.

Like other products within the Genesis system, the Quark is designed to be upgradeable, allowing its isolation performance to evolve as the system develops.

Stormy Black Finish

The Quark is presented in the Genesis Line's sophisticated Stormy Black finish. Its understated appearance allows the stand to integrate naturally into both traditional listening rooms and contemporary interiors while keeping the focus on the audio components it supports.
