VPI Signature 21 Reference Turntable
The VPI Signature 21 is a high-end audiophile turntable that brings together more than four decades of VPI turntable development in a substantial, precision-engineered analog platform. Designed and made in the USA, the Signature 21 combines a massive aluminum platter, VPI's JMW-10 Fatboy Gimbal tonearm, premium Nordost internal wiring, and a rigid multi-material chassis engineered for exceptional vinyl playback.
At the heart of the Signature 21 is VPI's JMW-10 Fatboy Gimbal Tonearm, wired with Nordost Reference wire for a clean, low-loss signal path from the cartridge. The tonearm system features on-the-fly VTA adjustment, straightforward cartridge alignment, and interchangeable tonearm capability, giving serious vinyl listeners considerable flexibility when configuring or upgrading their analog front end.
A substantial 12-inch, 20-pound aluminum platter provides the rotational mass needed for excellent speed stability, while the chassis combines MDF, aluminum, and stainless steel to create a solid foundation for the record, platter, and tonearm assembly.
The result is a turntable designed to deliver the detail, dynamics, dimensionality, and natural musical presentation expected from a reference-quality analog source.
