VPI Gimbal 3D Tonearm

The Signature DS comes standard with VPI's Gimbal 3D tonearm, combining VPI's advanced 3D arm construction with the stability and straightforward setup of a precision gimbal-bearing design.

The tonearm provides an excellent platform for a wide range of premium moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges, allowing the Signature DS to be configured around your system and listening preferences.

Double-Stacked Chassis

One of the Signature DS's defining features is its double-stacked chassis with a metal damping plate.

This substantial construction helps create a rigid and well-controlled mechanical foundation for the platter, bearing, tonearm, and cartridge. Reducing unwanted resonance and vibration allows the cartridge to retrieve more of the musical information contained in the record groove.

HW-40 Isolation Technology

VPI equips the Signature DS with HW-40 isolation feet, bringing isolation technology developed for VPI's reference-level turntables into the Signature DS platform.
