The Trinnov AltitudeCI brings Trinnov's legendary cinema processing, room optimization, and immersive-audio technology to a new platform designed specifically for modern custom integration.

Built around a powerful software-based 64-bit processing architecture, AltitudeCI combines Dolby Atmos, DTS Pro, Auro-3D, IMAX Enhanced, Trinnov Optimizer, WaveForming, Remapping, HDMI 2.1, Dante, AES67, AES/EBU, and flexible analog output routing in an exceptionally compact 2RU chassis.

Even more importantly, AltitudeCI is scalable. Systems can begin with 8 output channels and expand in two-channel increments up to 32 channels, allowing the processor to be configured around the theater rather than forcing the theater to conform to a fixed processor.

For larger installations, Trinnov also offers build-to-order configurations supporting up to 64 channels.

Trinnov Optimizer

At the heart of AltitudeCI is the Trinnov Optimizer, one of the most sophisticated acoustic optimization platforms available for home cinema.

Using Trinnov's proprietary 3D measurement technology, the Optimizer analyzes the acoustic behavior of the room and loudspeakers in three dimensions.

It can address frequency response, phase, impulse response, speaker levels, delays, crossover behavior, and other parameters that directly affect what you hear at the listening position.

The result isn't simply "room correction." It gives a trained calibrator an extraordinarily powerful set of tools for integrating the speakers, subwoofers, electronics, and room as a complete system.

Trinnov WaveForming

AltitudeCI also supports Trinnov WaveForming, the company's advanced approach to low-frequency reproduction and multi-subwoofer integration.

Rather than treating multiple subwoofers independently, WaveForming is designed to control how low-frequency energy propagates throughout the room.

When combined with properly designed subwoofer placement and professional calibration, WaveForming can dramatically improve bass consistency across multiple seats while reducing the room modes that traditionally make low-frequency performance difficult to control.

For serious private cinemas, this can fundamentally change how the entire room is designed.

Trinnov Remapping

Real-world speaker placement doesn't always perfectly match the theoretical location intended by a soundtrack.

Trinnov's Remapping technology analyzes the actual three-dimensional position of each loudspeaker and can compensate for differences between the physical speaker locations and the intended sound-field positions.

This allows AltitudeCI to maintain greater spatial accuracy even when architectural or room-design limitations prevent theoretically perfect speaker placement.

Scalable From 8 to 32 Channels

One of the biggest advantages of AltitudeCI is its scalability.

Standard configurations are available from 8 to 32 output channels, with additional channels activated in precise two-channel increments.

That means an AltitudeCI can be configured for anything from a sophisticated two-channel or 7.1 system to immersive layouts such as 7.1.4, 9.4.6, 11.4.4, 13.4.6 and beyond.

As the system evolves, additional licensed channels can be added without replacing the processor.

For extremely large private cinemas, screening rooms, and DCI applications, Trinnov also offers build-to-order configurations supporting up to 64 channels.

Dante & AES67 Audio Over IP

AltitudeCI was engineered from the beginning around modern networked audio.

Native Dante and AES67 support allows high-channel-count digital audio to travel across standard network infrastructure rather than requiring massive bundles of individual analog cables.

AltitudeCI supports up to 32 Dante input and output channels, along with up to 32 AES/EBU inputs and outputs.

Three independent Gigabit Ethernet connections—including one RJ45 port and two SFP cages—allow integrators to create isolated, redundant, or combined network architectures depending on the project.

Designed for Trinnov Amplitude16

AltitudeCI is an ideal partner for the Trinnov Amplitude16 power amplifier.

When an Amplitude16 is equipped with its optional Dante input board, multichannel digital audio can be transmitted directly from AltitudeCI to the amplifier over the network.

This can significantly simplify equipment-rack wiring while retaining the performance expected from a reference Trinnov cinema system.

AltitudeCI also supports DirectLink, Trinnov's architecture for separating Audio over IP traffic from control and internet traffic for greater network reliability.

AltitudeCI isn't limited to one connection format.

It provides 8 balanced analog outputs, up to 32 AES/EBU digital outputs, and up to 32 Dante outputs, with complete routing flexibility.

High-Resolution Processing

Unlike many surround processors that systematically convert incoming audio to 48kHz, AltitudeCI can process audio at its native sample rate up to 192kHz, depending on the active channel count.

Its software-based platform uses 64-bit floating-point processing, giving Trinnov enormous computational flexibility for decoding, optimization, bass management, routing, and acoustic processing.

Built for Custom Integration

AltitudeCI was designed specifically for professional integration.

It provides native control support for Control4, Crestron, Savant, RTI, AMX, Nice, and AVA, along with IP, RS-232 and IR control.
