The Trinnov Altitude32 36-Channel represents the highest-capacity standard Altitude32 configuration, providing 32 analog outputs and up to 36 discrete decoded and optimized channels.

Designed for the most ambitious private cinemas, the 36-channel Altitude32 provides the processing capacity required for extremely large immersive speaker layouts, extensive multi-subwoofer systems, Trinnov WaveForming installations, and sophisticated active loudspeaker architectures.

At this level, Altitude32 becomes much more than the processor in the equipment rack—it becomes the central audio architecture of the entire cinema.

36 Discrete Optimized Channels

This configuration provides 32 analog outputs, with four additional discrete channels available through Trinnov's +4 Channels AES/EBU capability.

That allows Altitude32 to decode and optimize as many as 36 discrete channels.

The additional capacity can be used for larger immersive speaker arrays, additional surrounds and overhead channels, sophisticated multi-subwoofer architectures, active crossovers, or combinations of all of them.

Trinnov Optimizer

The Trinnov Optimizer provides extraordinary control over the relationship between the loudspeakers and the room.

Using Trinnov's proprietary 3D measurement technology, Optimizer analyzes each loudspeaker's acoustic response and physical position within the theater.

The system provides extensive control over frequency response, phase, impulse response, speaker alignment, delays, crossovers, bass management, target curves, and multi-seat optimization.

With 36 available channels, that processing capability can be applied to extraordinarily sophisticated cinema systems.

Trinnov WaveForming

The 36-channel Altitude32 is particularly well suited to large Trinnov WaveForming installations.

WaveForming uses carefully positioned subwoofer arrays and advanced processing to actively control the propagation of low-frequency energy throughout the theater.

In a properly designed room, this can dramatically reduce seat-to-seat bass variation and provide more consistent low-frequency performance across the entire listening area.

Patented 3D Remapping

Trinnov's 3D Remapping measures the actual distance, azimuth, and elevation of every loudspeaker.

If architectural requirements prevent a speaker from being located exactly where the soundtrack expects it, Remapping can use adjacent loudspeakers to reposition the perceived sound.

This becomes especially valuable in large theaters with extensive speaker counts and complex architectural constraints.

Up to 36 Independently Optimized Subwoofer Channels

The 36-channel Altitude32 supports as many as 36 independently optimized subwoofer channels.

That doesn't mean a theater needs 36 subwoofers. It means Trinnov doesn't impose the conventional bass-management limitations found in many processors.

The theater designer can determine how the available channels should be allocated between main speakers, surround and overhead channels, subwoofers, active crossovers, and WaveForming arrays.

Active Multi-Way Systems
