28 Discrete Optimized Channels

The Altitude32 28-Channel configuration provides 24 analog outputs with four additional channels available through AES/EBU digital outputs.

All 28 channels can be independently decoded and optimized, allowing extremely sophisticated immersive-audio layouts and multi-subwoofer configurations.

For larger theaters, those additional channels can be used for expanded surround arrays, additional overhead channels, independently optimized subwoofers, or active multi-way loudspeaker systems.

Trinnov Optimizer

When a loudspeaker cannot be placed exactly where the soundtrack expects it, Altitude32 can use surrounding loudspeakers to reposition the apparent location of the sound.

This helps preserve the accuracy of the immersive sound field even in rooms where architectural constraints prevent theoretically perfect speaker placement.
