20 Discrete Optimized Channels

This Altitude32 configuration supports up to 20 discrete channels of decoding and Trinnov Optimizer processing.

The processor provides 16 analog outputs, with Trinnov's +4 Channels capability allowing four additional discrete channels to be delivered through AES/EBU digital outputs.

That provides tremendous flexibility for sophisticated immersive layouts and multi-subwoofer systems without immediately moving to one of the larger Altitude32 configurations.

Trinnov Optimizer

At the heart of Altitude32 is the Trinnov Optimizer, one of the most sophisticated loudspeaker and room optimization systems available.

Using Trinnov's proprietary 3D measurement technology, Optimizer analyzes the actual acoustic behavior and three-dimensional location of every loudspeaker in the room.

A trained calibrator can optimize frequency response, phase, impulse response, delays, levels, crossovers, bass management, and other critical system parameters.

Trinnov WaveForming

Altitude32 supports Trinnov WaveForming, Trinnov's advanced technology for controlling low-frequency behavior in properly designed multi-subwoofer theaters.

WaveForming approaches bass reproduction as part of the architecture of the room, using strategically positioned subwoofers and sophisticated processing to control how low-frequency energy propagates through the listening space.

When properly designed and calibrated, the result can be dramatically more consistent bass performance across multiple seating positions.

Patented 3D Remapping

Trinnov's exclusive 3D Remapping technology measures the actual distance, azimuth, and elevation of every loudspeaker.

When physical speaker locations differ from the locations intended by the soundtrack, Remapping can use adjacent speakers to reposition sounds within the listening environment.

This is particularly valuable in real-world theaters where architectural limitations don't always allow every speaker to be installed in a theoretically perfect location.
