Overview
Tributaries Series 8S MKII Subwoofer RCA Cable
Reference-Grade Mono Subwoofer Cable • 20AWG LC-OFC Copper • Multi-Gauge Solid-Core Conductors • Twin-Axial Geometry • Dual Shielding • Gold-Plated Tellurium Copper RCA Connectors
The Tributaries Series 8S MKII is a reference-grade mono RCA subwoofer cable engineered for precise low-frequency signal transmission in high-end stereo and home theater systems. Hand-assembled in Orlando, Florida, it combines 20AWG Linear Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper (LC-OFC) conductors, frequency-optimized multi-gauge construction and dual shielding to preserve bass detail while minimizing unwanted noise.
Designed specifically for LFE subwoofer connections, the 8S MKII delivers reliable signal transfer between AV receivers, surround processors, preamplifiers and powered subwoofers.
Multi-Gauge LC-OFC Conductors
Tributaries uses high-purity Linear Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper with multiple solid-core conductor gauges selected to support lower, middle and upper bass frequencies.
Each conductor is individually insulated to eliminate strand interaction, maintaining consistent electrical performance throughout the cable.
Twin-Axial Geometry and Dual Shielding
The 8S MKII features a precision-twisted Twin-Axial configuration with dedicated positive and negative signal conductors.
Its dual-shielded construction uses a heavy shield connected at the source end only. This directional grounding arrangement helps prevent electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference from reaching the subwoofer's input circuitry.
Gold-Plated Tellurium Copper RCA Connectors
Proprietary MKII RCA connectors feature gold-plated Tellurium copper contacts for high conductivity, mechanical strength and reliable signal transfer.
Silver-soldered terminations, a decorative woven outer jacket and UL CL2-rated PVC insulation complete the cable's premium construction.
