The Tributaries Series 8AB MKII Mono is a reference-grade balanced XLR interconnect designed for high-performance audio systems requiring a single-channel connection. Hand-assembled in Orlando, Florida, it combines Linear Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper (LC-OFC) conductors, precision-twisted triple-balanced geometry and dual shielding for exceptional signal integrity and noise rejection.
Ideal for monoblock amplifiers, center-channel amplification, subwoofers and individual balanced audio connections, the 8AB MKII delivers the same premium construction as the stereo version in a single-cable configuration.
Multi-Gauge LC-OFC Conductors
Individually insulated solid-core copper conductors of different gauges are engineered to optimize signal transmission across the audible frequency range. The 20AWG LC-OFC conductor system minimizes strand interaction and preserves low-level musical detail.
Triple-Balanced, Dual-Shielded Construction
Dedicated positive, negative and ground conductors maintain balanced signal transmission, while dual shielding protects against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. This construction is especially valuable for longer cable runs between preamplifiers and monoblock power amplifiers.
Tellurium Copper XLR Connectors
Premium Tellurium copper XLR contacts provide excellent conductivity and reliable connections. Silver-soldered terminations and a ground-first female XLR connector complete the cable's precision construction.
