The Tributaries Series 8A MKII is a reference-grade RCA analog audio interconnect engineered for high-performance stereo and home theater systems. Hand-assembled in Orlando, Florida, it combines 20AWG Linear Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper (LC-OFC) conductors, precision-twisted Twin-Axial geometry and dual shielding to preserve musical detail while minimizing interference.
Designed for connections between DACs, streamers, CD players, preamplifiers and power amplifiers, the 8A MKII delivers exceptional signal integrity in demanding high-end audio systems.
Multi-Gauge LC-OFC Conductors
The 8A MKII uses high-purity Linear Crystal Oxygen-Free Copper, carefully drawn to minimize crystal boundaries that can contribute to signal loss and distortion.
Multiple solid-core conductor gauges are selected to optimize low-, mid- and high-frequency transmission. Each conductor is individually insulated to eliminate strand interaction and maintain consistent electrical performance.
Precision-Twisted Twin-Axial Geometry
Unlike conventional coaxial RCA cables, the 8A MKII features dedicated positive and negative signal conductors in a precision-twisted Twin-Axial configuration.
A separate shield connects to ground at the source end, directing induced interference away from the receiving component. Combined with dual shielding, this architecture reduces noise pickup while maintaining the compatibility of a standard single-ended RCA connection.
Gold-Plated Tellurium Copper RCA Connectors
The Series 8 MKII incorporates proprietary gold-plated Tellurium copper RCA connectors selected for their conductivity and mechanical strength.
Silver-soldered terminations, a decorative woven jacket and UL CL2-rated PVC insulation complete the cable's premium construction.
