The Theory Audio Design ic6 Bollard brings high-output, architectural sound to outdoor living spaces. Designed for luxury residential landscapes, patios, poolside entertainment and commercial installations, this weather-resistant outdoor speaker delivers exceptionally uniform 360-degree coverage from a discreet, contemporary enclosure.

At its core is Theory's ic6 coaxial loudspeaker, featuring a 6.5-inch carbon-fiber woofer and a 1.4-inch AdvancedPoly compression driver. The result is a powerful landscape audio system engineered to maintain tonal consistency and clarity throughout expansive outdoor listening areas.

True 360-Degree Sound Coverage

Unlike conventional directional outdoor speakers, the ic6 Bollard distributes sound evenly in every horizontal direction. Its controlled vertical dispersion projects audio outward and slightly upward toward listeners, making it particularly well suited to open patios, landscaped gardens, hospitality venues and large outdoor entertainment areas.

With a maximum peak output of 118 dB SPL at one meter, the ic6 Bollard delivers the output required for demanding outdoor installations while maintaining broad, consistent coverage.

High-Performance Coaxial Driver Technology

The ic6 Bollard incorporates Theory's proprietary AcousticCore technology, pairing a 6.5-inch carbon-fiber low-frequency driver with a 1.4-inch AdvancedPoly compression driver.

Its coaxial design supports consistent dispersion and precise acoustic alignment. Combined with Theory-certified DSP processing, the system is engineered to deliver accurate reproduction across its specified 54 Hz–25 kHz frequency range at -10 dB.

Architectural Design and Flexible Installation

The ic6 Bollard features a molded composite frame and powder-coated stainless-steel decorative sleeve, finished in Dark Espresso. Its paintable housing allows the speaker to blend into surrounding architecture and landscaping.

The enclosure supports solid-surface installation or direct soil mounting using the included 12-inch stainless-steel spikes. Optional burial thrust plates are available for installations in loose soil.

Selectable 16-ohm and 70V/100V operation provides flexibility for residential and distributed commercial audio systems.
