The slim 3.8-inch cabinet can be installed directly against a wall using the included Theory Z-Clip brackets, resulting in a total installed depth of just 3.93 inches. An optional sb-STAND accessory allows placement on entertainment consoles, tabletops and other suitable flat surfaces.

Dedicated Theory Amplification and DSP

Unlike conventional powered soundbars, the sb85 requires three channels of compatible Theory loudspeaker controller amplification with model-specific Theory-certified DSP processing.

Each channel operates independently, allowing the controller to provide appropriate equalization, crossover management and loudspeaker protection. This architecture also enables the sb85 to become the front soundstage of a larger Theory surround sound system.
