At its core, the iws12 Bollard features a high-power, long-throw 12-inch woofer with a 4-inch voice coil, delivering up to 1,400 watts of continuous power handling and 124 dB maximum SPL at one meter. With low-frequency extension down to 29.5 Hz (-3 dB), it provides the depth and impact needed to reproduce dynamic music in open-air environments.

Its molded composite enclosure features a Dark Espresso finish that can be painted to complement the surrounding landscape. Designed to pair with Theory's ic6 Bollard loudspeakers, the iws12 creates a cohesive outdoor audio system with powerful bass and discreet architectural integration.

Outdoor Installation and System Integration

The iws12 Bollard is engineered for installations where conventional subwoofers would compromise the appearance of the outdoor space. Its compact, cylindrical enclosure can be positioned among landscaping, near outdoor living areas or throughout larger properties to provide low-frequency reinforcement where it is needed.

The included 12-inch stainless steel soil spikes support installation directly into the ground. An optional burial thrust plate provides additional support in loose soil, while solid-surface mounting accommodates patios and other hardscape environments.

For a complete outdoor audio solution, the iws12 Bollard integrates with Theory ic6 Bollard loudspeakers, compatible ALC amplification and model-specific Theory-certified DSP processing.

Important: The iws12 Bollard housing and iws12 speaker assembly are sold separately. Both components are required for a complete subwoofer.
