The Goldmund Telos 8800 is a statement-level mono power amplifier engineered for loudspeakers and systems where extraordinary current delivery, control and stability are required. Each amplifier delivers up to 1,400 watts into 8 ohms, 2,400 watts into 4 ohms, 2,800 watts into 2 ohms and 3,000 watts into 1 ohm under Goldmund's specified IEC measurement conditions. Built around Goldmund's proprietary Telos Class A/B amplification architecture, the 8800 uses four separate electronic boards, an advanced high-capacity power supply and extensive mechanical and thermal engineering. Telos Class A/B Amplification

Goldmund's proprietary Telos amplification circuit combines Class A/B operation with very high bandwidth and extremely low distortion.

600 Damping Factor

A specified damping factor of 600 at 1 kHz into 8 ohms gives the Telos 8800 substantial electrical control over connected loudspeaker drivers.

Next-Generation Power Supply

The 8800 advances beyond the earlier Telos 5500 NextGen with a redesigned power supply using custom capacitor banks, silver-metallized capacitors, increased energy storage and a new soft-start system.

Analogue and Digital Inputs

The Telos 8800 provides both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue inputs, plus RCA digital input and output connections.

Mechanical Grounding

At 265 kg / 584 lb per monoblock, the Telos 8800 is built on an extraordinary mechanical scale.

Its chassis incorporates 15 mm aluminum panels, 40 mm radiator structures, massive integrated heat sinks and Goldmund Conic Feet as part of the company's Mechanical Grounding approach.
