The Synergistic Research SRX PowerCell is the company's flagship AC power conditioner, engineered for reference-level audio systems where every component of the power-distribution system matters. With twenty Pink Quantum outlets, sixteen full-size SRX XL folded electromagnetic cells, two additional flat electromagnetic cells and three isolated outlet banks, it represents the most extensive power-conditioning architecture in the PowerCell lineup.

Inside its substantial aluminum and carbon-fiber chassis, Synergistic Research incorporates an entire kilogram of 6N pure-silver wiring, a second-generation active linear power supply, SRX ultra-low-frequency generators and an advanced grounding network. Every SRX PowerCell includes two six-foot SRX XL AC power cables, a manufacturer-published combined retail value of $26,000. These cables are part of the standard package and connect to the conditioner's dual PowerCon inputs.

Designed for extensive two-channel systems, the SRX PowerCell combines substantial power-distribution capacity, active electromagnetic conditioning and pure-silver construction in one flagship component.

Sixteen Full-Size SRX XL Electromagnetic Cells

The SRX PowerCell incorporates the largest electromagnetic-cell array in Synergistic Research's published PowerCell lineup.

Its internal architecture consists of sixteen first-generation SRX XL folded electromagnetic cells housed in carbon fiber, together with two additional flat electromagnetic cells.

The manufacturer specifies a combined active electromagnetic-cell area of 17,340 cm².

Synergistic Research developed this architecture to increase the surface area available for its electromagnetic-conditioning technology while supporting the transient current requirements of connected equipment.

The company describes the folded cells as having capacitor-like energy-storage characteristics. According to the manufacturer, this architecture is intended to support peak current demands without the current restrictions associated with certain conventional power-conditioning designs.

The SRX PowerCell's published electrical ratings still apply. Its conditioning architecture does not increase the safe continuous capacity of the supplying wall circuit.

Twenty Pink Quantum Outlets Across Three Isolated Banks

The SRX PowerCell provides twenty Pink Quantum AC outlets organized across three isolated banks.

This configuration allows a complete reference audio system to share one power-conditioning platform while giving customers flexibility in organizing their components.

The three-bank architecture is intended to accommodate digital sources, analog equipment and high-current amplification. One bank is specifically designated for high-current components.

A substantial audio system may include multiple music servers, network streamers, DACs, turntables, phono stages, preamplifiers and separate power amplifiers. With twenty outlets available, the SRX PowerCell can accommodate complex equipment arrangements while leaving capacity for future expansion.

Synergistic Research developed its Pink Quantum outlets as part of its UEF treatment program. The company describes them as providing improvements in perceived detail and background quietness while maintaining tonal warmth compared with its Purple Quantum outlets.

Outlet assignments should follow the labeling on the conditioner and the electrical requirements of the connected equipment.

One Kilogram of 6N Pure-Silver Internal Wiring

One of the SRX PowerCell's defining construction features is its extensive use of pure silver.

Synergistic Research specifies approximately 133 feet of point-to-point 6N pure-silver wiring, totaling an entire kilogram of silver.

The manufacturer uses these conductors throughout the internal power-distribution architecture, rather than conventional copper or its Silver Matrix wiring found in smaller PowerCell models.

The detailed specifications identify discrete 12 AWG, 99.9999% pure-silver wiring.

The extensive internal wiring works alongside the electromagnetic-cell array, active biasing system and grounding architecture as part of the SRX PowerCell's integrated design.

Second-Generation SRX Active Linear Power Supply

The SRX PowerCell incorporates an active second-generation SRX linear power supply developed to provide the electrical bias required by its electromagnetic cells.

The manufacturer specifies two internal Synergistic Research power transformers and eight SR Quantum Capacitors within the electromagnetic-cell power-supply and ULF-generator circuitry.

The grounding network works alongside the electromagnetic cells, active power supply and ULF generator as part of the manufacturer's approach to unwanted electrical noise.

Dedicated Active Ground Block Connection

The SRX PowerCell includes a dedicated connection for a compatible Synergistic Research Active Ground Block.

This allows customers to expand their grounding system without sacrificing one of the twenty AC outlets.

The manufacturer associates its additional grounding technology with improvements in perceived low-frequency definition, background quietness and spatial presentation.

The Active Ground Block is a separate accessory and is not included with the SRX PowerCell.

Two Additional 5V USB Outputs

Synergistic Research identifies Galileo White, Synergistic Research Blue, Dante Red and McIntosh Blue among the available colors.

Owners can adjust the lighting intensity or turn the illumination off entirely, allowing the conditioner to complement the surrounding equipment and listening-room environment.

Two Six-Foot SRX XL Power Cables Included

The conditioner incorporates two Neutrik 32A PowerCon inputs, allowing the supplied cables to form part of its dual-input power-distribution architecture.

These two SRX XL cables are standard equipment, not optional upgrades from a less expensive bundled cable.
