Flagship-Derived Technology in an Accessible Audiophile Power Cord

The Synergistic Research Pink AC Power Cable brings technologies developed for the company's flagship SRX XL cables to a straightforward, 14 AWG power cord. Combining oxygen-free copper conductors, graphene-enhanced UEF Matrix Shielding and SRX XL High Voltage Conditioning, the Pink AC is designed for music lovers upgrading the power connections in their high-fidelity audio systems.

Its construction features three 14 AWG SR Copper conductors insulated with EPDM and PTFE dielectric materials, terminated with Synergistic Research's copper wall and IEC connectors. A built-in Pink Carbon Tuning Disc provides additional electromagnetic-field tuning without the need for interchangeable accessories.

Unlike Synergistic Research's more elaborate active-shielded power cables, the Pink AC requires no external power supply or separate tuning modules. It offers a practical entry into the company's cable technology for compatible DACs, network streamers, preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers and other audio components.

SRX XL Matrix Shielding with Graphene

The Pink AC incorporates the graphene-based UEF Matrix compound developed for Synergistic Research's SRX XL cable series. Applied directly to the cable's connectors, the treatment is part of the manufacturer's approach to managing unwanted electromagnetic interference.

Synergistic Research also incorporates a built-in Pink Carbon Tuning Disc designed to influence the electromagnetic field surrounding the connector. Unlike the removable Gold and Purple discs supplied with some other models, the Pink AC's tuning disc is integrated into the cable.

According to Synergistic Research, these technologies are intended to improve perceived background quietness, harmonic texture and musical detail.

SRX XL High Voltage Conditioning

Every Pink AC undergoes Synergistic Research's SRX XL High Voltage Conditioning process after assembly.

Originally developed for the company's reference cables, this proprietary manufacturing treatment uses high-voltage pulses, extended frequency sweeps and controlled modulation patterns. Synergistic Research applies it to the cable and its connections as part of its conductor-conditioning process.

The Pink AC also uses 4% silver solder and receives approximately two hours of assembly work. Its copper connectors and relatively flexible construction make it suitable for a range of audio-system installations.
