The Synergistic Research PowerCell 12 SX brings the company's flagship SRX electromagnetic-cell architecture into a twelve-outlet power conditioner designed for high-performance two-channel audio systems. Incorporating three full-size SRX XL electromagnetic cells, active ultra-low-frequency (ULF) biasing and an advanced parallel grounding network, it provides a centralized power-conditioning solution for systems with multiple source components and demanding amplification.

Unlike the PowerCell 8 SX, the PowerCell 12 SX uses three full-size SRX XL cells dedicated to the hot, neutral and ground conductors. These are paired with a second-generation active linear power supply and the ULF generator technology developed for Synergistic Research's flagship products.

Twelve Pink Quantum outlets, individually wired using Silver Matrix conductors, accommodate the components of a complete reference-level audio system. An additional grounding connection allows integration with a compatible Synergistic Research Active Ground Block without sacrificing an AC outlet.

The PowerCell 12 SX also introduces extensive visual customization, including selectable illumination for its front meter and top-mounted circuit window.

A five-foot Foundation XL 10 AWG power cable is included, providing a complete starting point for a high-performance power-distribution system.

 

Three Full-Size SRX XL Electromagnetic Cells

The foundation of the PowerCell 12 SX is its three-cell SRX XL architecture.

Unlike smaller PowerCell models, the 12 SX incorporates three full-size electromagnetic cells based on the same geometry, materials and UEF compounds used in the flagship SRX PowerCell.

Each cell is handcrafted using an air-dielectric construction and enclosed in carbon fiber.

The three cells are dedicated to the hot, neutral and ground conductors, creating what Synergistic Research describes as a unified electromagnetic-field architecture.

The manufacturer developed this arrangement to provide active conditioning across the system's AC and grounding paths rather than treating them as entirely separate elements.

Active SRX Ultra-Low-Frequency Biasing

The PowerCell 12 SX incorporates the same ULF generator technology used in Synergistic Research's flagship SRX PowerCell and Active Ground Blocks.

The generator applies ultra-low-frequency biasing to the electromagnetic cells as part of the company's active conditioning architecture.

Each outlet receives Synergistic Research's two-stage Quantum Treatment.

The manufacturer also specifies discrete Silver Matrix wiring from the outlets to the electromagnetic cells, rather than relying on a conventional shared power-strip arrangement.
