Synergistic Research Galileo LUX Interconnects bring a purpose-built approach to signal transmission in high-end two-channel audio systems. Rather than using identical tuning throughout the signal chain, Galileo LUX offers two distinct configurations: Source-to-Pre and Pre-to-Power. Each is voiced by Synergistic Research for the electrical and musical demands of its intended application.

Handcrafted in California using 99.9999% pure silver Air String and silver ribbon conductors, Galileo LUX combines multiple isolated cable geometries with third-generation UEF Active Shielding and graphene-based treatments. The design is intended to address electrical noise while preserving the low-level information, tonal character and dynamics of an analog recording.

Available with RCA or balanced XLR terminations, Galileo LUX is designed for reference systems built around premium digital sources, analog playback, separate preamplifiers and high-performance power amplifiers.

Two Distinct Configurations for the Signal Chain

These application-specific configurations allow Galileo LUX to be selected according to the cable's position within a system rather than treating every analog connection identically.

Pure Silver Air String and Silver Ribbon Conductors

Galileo LUX combines two distinct pure-silver conductor designs.

Its second-generation monofilament Silver Air Strings use 99.9999% pure monocrystalline silver suspended within a sealed air dielectric. The silver ribbon conductors employ a sealed PTFE-air dielectric and a separate shielding arrangement.

Synergistic Research uses these geometries together to balance the different characteristics it seeks from each conductor design. The manufacturer associates the combination with precise transient reproduction, harmonic texture and tonal refinement.

The RCA and XLR versions use different numbers of ribbon conductors to accommodate their respective connection formats.

Third-Generation UEF Active Shielding

Galileo LUX incorporates third-generation UEF Active Shielding with an updated graphene-based UEF compound derived from Synergistic Research's SRX XL development program.

The shielding system is designed to address unwanted electrical interference without relying solely on conventional passive shielding. Its integration with the cable's conductor geometries and grounding architecture is intended to preserve the presentation of low-level musical information.

Synergistic Research developed this generation of Matrix Shielding specifically for the Galileo LUX series, with the stated goal of balancing resolution, tonal refinement and a natural musical presentation.

High-Voltage Conditioning and Extended Burn-In

Each Galileo LUX Interconnect undergoes Synergistic Research's proprietary high-voltage conditioning process.

The manufacturer uses a customized conditioning sequence intended to influence the dielectric-conductor interface. The Galileo LUX treatment incorporates a revised conditioning profile developed for this cable series.

Following assembly and conditioning, the cables undergo a five-day burn-in process as part of Synergistic Research's manufacturing procedure.

Silver SR20 Connectors and Handcrafted Construction

Galileo LUX Interconnects are terminated with Synergistic Research Silver SR20 RCA or XLR connectors, depending on the selected configuration.

Each pair features point-to-point wiring and 4% WBT silver solder. The silver ribbon geometries are evaluated for signal direction before assembly, and the completed cables are handcrafted at Synergistic Research's California factory.

Standard lengths begin at one meter, with additional lengths available to order.
