The Synergistic Research Galileo LUX Phono cables are engineered for one of the most demanding connections in a high-end audio system: the low-level signal traveling from a phono cartridge to a phono preamplifier. Available with RCA, XLR and DIN terminations, Galileo LUX combines pure silver conductor geometries, advanced electromagnetic shielding and proprietary high-voltage conditioning in a design dedicated to premium vinyl playback.

Galileo LUX uses two complementary conductor architectures: 6N pure silver AirStrings suspended in a sealed air dielectric and pure silver ribbon conductors. Synergistic Research developed this combination to balance fine musical detail with tonal richness, stable imaging and natural dynamics.

Handcrafted in California, Galileo LUX Phono brings the technologies of the company's reference cable range to turntable systems built around premium moving-coil cartridges, precision tonearms and high-performance phono stages.

Pure Silver AirStrings and Silver Ribbon Geometry

At the heart of Galileo LUX Phono is a combination of second-generation silver monofilament AirStrings and pure silver ribbon conductors.

The AirStrings use 99.9999% pure monocrystalline silver suspended in a sealed air dielectric. This construction minimizes the amount of insulating material surrounding the conductors, an approach intended to reduce dielectric interaction with the delicate phono signal.

Complementing the AirStrings, pure silver ribbon conductors use a sealed PTFE-air dielectric. Their geometry forms the second part of the Galileo LUX design, which Synergistic Research developed to combine fine transient detail with harmonic richness and a stable stereo image.

The RCA and XLR versions use different conductor arrangements tailored to their respective interfaces.

Galileo LUX Matrix Shielding with Graphene

Because phono cartridges generate extremely low-level signals, a phono cable must operate in an environment where electrical interference can become particularly noticeable.

Galileo LUX Phono incorporates Synergistic Research's third-generation UEF Active Shielding and a graphene-based Matrix Shield formulation derived from the SRX XL series.

The manufacturer developed this shielding system to manage electromagnetic interference while preserving the musical presentation of the analog signal. It is designed to work with the cable's silver conductor geometries rather than relying on shielding alone.

The AirString conductors also incorporate UEF Ground Plane Technology, providing a coordinated approach to conductor isolation and shielding.

Purpose-Built RCA, XLR and DIN Terminations

Galileo LUX Phono is available with RCA, XLR and DIN connections, accommodating different turntable, tonearm and phono preamplifier configurations.

The RCA and XLR versions use Synergistic Research's silver SR20 connectors. DIN options include straight and right-angle configurations, providing flexibility for compatible tonearms and turntables with limited connection clearance.

Each termination is engineered for its intended interface rather than using one identical conductor arrangement across every connector type.

Selecting the correct termination is particularly important for phono applications, where cartridge wiring, grounding and phono stage input configuration must be considered together.

Custom High-Voltage Conditioning

Every Galileo LUX Phono cable receives Synergistic Research's proprietary high-voltage conditioning treatment.

The company uses a custom conditioning process intended to stabilize the interaction between the conductors and dielectric materials. For Galileo LUX, this treatment was developed alongside the series' silver conductor geometry and Matrix Shield formulation.

The manufacturer associates the process with a more refined musical presentation, particularly in low-level detail, spatial information and dynamic transitions.

Handcrafted in California

Galileo LUX Phono cables are handcrafted in Synergistic Research's California facility using point-to-point wiring and 4% WBT silver solder.

Each cable undergoes the company's custom Quantum Tunneling treatment and a five-day burn-in process before completion.

These manufacturing processes complement the cable's specialized conductor construction and distinguish Galileo LUX from conventional phono interconnects.
