Designed to connect music servers, streaming transports and computers to compatible USB DACs, Foundation XL combines solid-copper conductors, advanced graphene-based shielding and Synergistic Research's proprietary high-voltage conditioning.

Building on the Foundation SX series, Foundation XL incorporates SRX XL UEF Matrix Shielding and the same extended high-voltage conditioning process used in the company's reference cables. According to Synergistic Research, these improvements are intended to lower the perceived noise floor, improve dynamics and deliver more natural instrumental timbre.

Handcrafted in California, Foundation XL USB features four 23 AWG solid-copper conductors, solid polyethylene insulation and dual silver Mylar/braided shielding. Its construction is designed for demanding digital audio applications where careful signal transmission and electrical noise management are priorities.

The manufacturer developed this approach to manage electromagnetic interference while minimizing the influence of shielding on signal transmission. Combined with the cable's Copper Matrix conductors and solid polyethylene dielectric, the construction is intended to provide a carefully controlled electrical environment for USB audio connections.

Advanced High Voltage Conditioning

Every Foundation XL USB cable undergoes Synergistic Research's SRX XL High Voltage Conditioning process. This proprietary treatment uses high-voltage pulses, specific frequencies and extended-duration frequency sweeps.

Following assembly, the cable also receives a secondary UEF Blue treatment and a five-day, two-stage factory burn-in.
