Reference-Level RCA Interconnects

The Synergistic Research Atmosphere SX Euphoria interconnects combine advanced silver conductor geometries, UEF Matrix Shielding with graphene, and adjustable Galileo SX tuning technology. As the highest model in the Atmosphere SX analog interconnect range, Euphoria incorporates technologies developed for Synergistic Research's flagship SRX cable series.

Available in both RCA and balanced XLR configurations, Euphoria SX is designed for premium two-channel systems connecting components such as DACs, music streamers, phono preamplifiers, integrated amplifiers and separate preamplifiers and power amplifiers.

Its construction combines Tricon Silver Matrix conductors with individually isolated, pure silver Air Strings. A carbon-fiber UEF Cell, external grounding capability and interchangeable Gold and Silver tuning modules provide additional opportunities to tailor the cable to a reference audio system.

Tricon Silver Matrix and Pure Silver Air Strings

Euphoria SX uses different conductor configurations for RCA and balanced XLR connections.

The RCA version combines two fifth-generation Tricon Silver Matrix geometries with four pure silver Air String conductors. The XLR version expands this architecture to four Tricon geometries and eight Air Strings to accommodate balanced signal transmission.

The Air Strings use 99.9999% pure monocrystalline silver conductors housed within sealed air dielectrics. The Tricon geometries incorporate monocrystalline conductors with PTFE insulation and separate grounding arrangements.

Each geometry is individually isolated to reduce mechanical interaction between the cable's internal assemblies. This complex construction is intended to preserve low-level musical information while supporting the dynamics and spatial presentation sought in high-end analog playback systems.

Level 4 UEF Matrix Shielding with Graphene

Euphoria SX incorporates Atmosphere SX Level 4 UEF Matrix Shielding, an advanced version of Synergistic Research's proprietary shielding architecture.

Two UEF coatings containing graphene are applied to selected areas of the cable, connectors, grounding system and UEF Cell. Carbon-fiber tuning discs are also positioned at strategic points along the shielding system.

These treatments are intended to address electromagnetic interference and mechanical resonance. Synergistic Research developed the technology to reduce perceived background noise and improve musical detail without introducing an excessively bright or analytical presentation.

The cable also incorporates silver-braid shielding and the company's UEF Ground Plane Technology.

Carbon-Fiber UEF Cell

The Euphoria SX incorporates a proprietary Level 3 UEF Cell housed in a carbon-fiber enclosure.

This passive electromagnetic filtering assembly uses precious-metal foils, specialized dielectric materials and proprietary UEF treatments. Its three-channel architecture is designed to interact with the signal, ground and shielding systems.

The manufacturer developed this technology to address unwanted electrical interference and signal reflections, with the goal of improving perceived clarity, dimensionality and tonal refinement.

Galileo SX Gold and Silver Tuning Modules

One of Euphoria SX's distinguishing features is its inclusion of both Galileo SX Gold and Silver UEF tuning modules.

Both modules operate outside the primary signal path. Their interchangeable design allows listeners to compare different presentations and select the configuration that suits their system.

Synergistic Research recommends allowing the cables to settle into the system for approximately 72–96 hours before evaluating the tuning modules.

External Grounding for Advanced Audio Systems

Euphoria SX incorporates an external Ground Plane connection that allows its shielding system to be grounded independently of the connected audio components.

The included grounding arrangement can be used with a compatible grounding connection, while an optional Synergistic Research Ground Block or Active Ground Block provides additional system-wide grounding options.

This feature is particularly relevant for reference systems incorporating multiple digital and analog components, where grounding arrangements may influence the amount of electrical interference present.

SRX Long-Duration High-Voltage Conditioning

Every Euphoria SX interconnect undergoes Synergistic Research's proprietary SRX long-duration conditioning process.

The completed cable is exposed to high-voltage pulses with controlled frequencies and modulation patterns. It also receives the company's secondary UEF Blue Treatment and a five-day, two-stage burn-in process.

These treatments form part of the manufacturer's cable preparation process and are intended to refine its performance. Any audible differences will depend on the associated equipment and listening environment.

Handcrafted in California

Euphoria SX interconnects are individually assembled in Synergistic Research's California factory.

Each pair incorporates multiple isolated cable geometries, point-to-point hand-soldered connections using 4% silver solder, proprietary shielding treatments and the company's external tuning and grounding architecture.

The manufacturer specifies approximately 5.5 hours of hand assembly, followed by its extended conditioning and burn-in procedures.
