Reference Power Delivery with Active Shielding and System-Specific Tuning

The Synergistic Research Atmosphere Euphoria SX AC Power Cable brings together pure-silver AirString conductors, Copper Matrix Alloy technology and active electromagnetic shielding in a sophisticated power cord for high-end audio systems. Positioned above Excite SX in the Atmosphere range, Euphoria SX adds a more elaborate conductor geometry, interchangeable Galileo SX tuning modules and the ability to connect its shield to a Synergistic Research Active Ground Block.

Its construction combines three 12 AWG Copper Matrix Alloy conductors, a fifth-generation Tricon geometry and three handcrafted 6N monocrystalline silver AirStrings. The conductors work alongside graphene-treated UEF Matrix Shielding and an onboard Swiss-made power supply that provides the 30V DC bias required for active shielding.

Euphoria SX is designed for listeners who want to refine power delivery to their DAC, preamplifier, music server or other high-performance audio components while retaining the flexibility to tune the cable's presentation. Its integrated shielding supply eliminates the need for an external power adapter, making it easier to accommodate in a sophisticated equipment rack.

Multi-Geometry Conductors and Graphene-Based Shielding

Euphoria SX uses a combination of copper-alloy and pure-silver conductors selected for Synergistic Research's Atmosphere SX architecture. Three 12 AWG Copper Matrix Alloy conductors form its principal power-delivery geometry, complemented by a fifth-generation Tricon design with monocrystalline Silver Copper Matrix conductors and a separate ground conductor.

Three additional Silver AirStrings are handcrafted from 99.9999% pure monocrystalline silver and use sealed PTFE air dielectrics. The principal Copper Matrix conductors use modified polyethylene insulation, while the Tricon geometry employs PTFE and a triaxial construction.

The cable's UEF Matrix Shield places graphene-based treatments at selected points throughout its shielding structure. Synergistic Research also incorporates carbon-fiber UEF tuning discs developed for the Atmosphere SX generation. Together, these technologies are intended to address unwanted electromagnetic interference while preserving the cable's intended tonal balance.

Integrated Active Shielding and Galileo SX Tuning

A Galileo SX Black Active Module completes the active-bias circuit and must remain connected during normal use.

For tonal adjustment, the cable includes interchangeable Galileo SX Gold and Silver passive tuning modules. Synergistic Research describes Gold as emphasizing warmth and smoothness, while Silver places greater emphasis on perceived detail, dynamics and spatial focus. The modules allow owners to experiment with the cable's presentation without changing the power cord itself.

The cable also supports connection to a compatible Synergistic Research Active Ground Block through its optional grounding arrangement. This connection is designed specifically for the manufacturer's grounding system, not a wall outlet or conventional ground connection. The Active Ground Block is sold separately

Handcrafted Construction and SRX Conditioning

Each Atmosphere Euphoria SX AC cable is handcrafted at Synergistic Research's California facility. Its construction includes point-to-point hand-soldered connections, 4% silver solder, SR G07 Pure Gold connectors and the company's proprietary SRX long-duration high-voltage conditioning process.

The manufacturer also applies additional UEF treatments and a five-day factory burn-in process. Synergistic Research developed these procedures as part of its approach to cable conditioning and electromagnetic-noise management.

Euphoria SX is available with North American, Schuko, UK and Australian wall plugs, as well as compatible 15A and 20A IEC equipment connectors. A separate Euphoria SX High Current model is available for applications requiring its heavier 10 AWG conductor architecture.
