The SurgeX XR315 is a professional-grade, 15-amp rackmount surge eliminator and power conditioner designed for high-end home theater systems, two-channel audio, and custom AV installations. Combining Advanced Series Mode® surge elimination, ICE® Inrush Current Elimination, Impedance Tolerant® EMI/RFI filtration, and programmable power management, the XR315 provides comprehensive electrical protection for sensitive audio and video equipment.

Featuring eight rear-panel AC outlets, an LCD monitoring display, and remote control capabilities, the XR315 integrates surge protection, power conditioning, and system control into a compact 1U chassis.

Advanced Series Mode® Surge Protection

SurgeX's patented Advanced Series Mode technology uses non-sacrificial components to eliminate damaging surge energy without introducing ground contamination or common-mode disturbances. Unlike conventional MOV-based surge suppressors, its protection circuitry is designed to withstand repeated surge events without progressive degradation.

The XR315 delivers zero surge let-through voltage under the manufacturer's specified 6,000V surge test conditions, helping protect amplifiers, AV processors, projectors, televisions, streaming components, and other valuable electronics.

ICE® Inrush Current Elimination

High-performance amplifiers and other power-intensive electronics can draw substantial current when first switched on. The XR315 incorporates ICE Inrush Current Elimination to control startup current, reducing the likelihood of nuisance circuit breaker trips.

This technology is particularly valuable in dedicated home theaters and equipment racks containing multiple high-current components.

Power Conditioning & EMI/RFI Filtration

SurgeX Impedance Tolerant filtration attenuates electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference on the AC power line. By reducing unwanted electrical noise, the XR315 provides a cleaner power environment for sensitive audio, video, and digital components.

The unit also incorporates programmable over-voltage and under-voltage shutdown protection to disconnect equipment when incoming AC voltage falls outside configured operating limits.

Intelligent Power Management

The XR315 includes a backlit LCD display for monitoring incoming voltage, current consumption, and power information. Programmable control features allow integration with custom home automation and AV control systems.
