Overview
Stewart WallScreen Deluxe 120" 16:9 Harmony G3 0.7 Gain Acoustically Transparent Fixed Frame Projector Screen
120" Diagonal • 58.75" × 104.5" Image • 16:9 HDTV • Harmony G3 • 0.7 Gain • Acoustically Transparent
Stewart Part Number: WSDQ120HHMG3EZX
The Stewart WallScreen Deluxe 120-inch fixed frame projector screen with Harmony G3 is designed for high-performance home theaters using speakers positioned behind the projection screen.
This configuration combines a 58.75" × 104.5" 16:9 image with Stewart's woven Harmony G3 acoustically transparent projection material, allowing the front LCR speakers to be positioned directly behind the picture for a true cinema-style installation.
Harmony G3 Acoustically Transparent Screen
Harmony G3 is Stewart's woven acoustically transparent front-projection material.
It allows speakers to be placed as close as 1 inch behind the screen, giving theater designers greater flexibility when positioning the front soundstage. Stewart states that third-party testing shows minimal impact on the audio signal through 15 kHz. Stewart FilmScreen
The result is a theater where dialogue, music and effects can originate directly from the image rather than from speakers positioned above, below or beside it.
0.7 Gain Lambertian Surface
Harmony G3 has a 0.7 peak gain with Lambertian light distribution.
The diffuse surface provides an extremely wide viewing area and excellent image uniformity across multiple seats and rows. It is optimized for controlled-light home theaters and private cinemas. Stewart FilmScreen
120-Inch 16:9 Viewing Area
A 120-inch diagonal image measuring 58.75" high × 104.5" wide.
The native 16:9 HDTV aspect ratio is ideal for movies, streaming, television, gaming and modern home cinema.
WallScreen Deluxe Fixed Frame
WallScreen Deluxe is Stewart's most popular fixed-frame projection screen.
Its 1.5" × 3.25" profile provides precise support for the screen material while helping absorb stray projection light and overscan. Stewart FilmScreen
Aircraft-Grade Aluminum Frame
Stewart constructs WallScreen frames from aircraft-grade aluminum and hand finishes the visible surfaces in light-absorbing black Velux.
The adjustable snap attachment system keeps the woven projection material properly tensioned and aligned. Stewart FilmScreen
Speakers Behind the Screen
Harmony G3 allows the left, center and right speakers to be installed directly behind the projected image.
This enables proper cinema-style speaker height and creates a seamless relationship between picture and sound.
Unlike perforated screen options, Harmony G3 is inherently acoustically transparent and does not require additional perforation. Stewart FilmScreen
Short-Throw Friendly
Harmony G3 requires a minimum throw distance of only 0.3 × image width, providing considerable flexibility for projector placement compared with directional higher-gain materials. Stewart FilmScreen

Is Harmony G3 Right for Your Theater?
Choose Harmony G3 when you want the front speakers positioned behind the projection screen, just as they are in a commercial cinema.
It is particularly well suited to dedicated theaters with in-wall LCR speakers, baffle walls or purpose-built front speaker arrays.
The tradeoff is brightness. At 0.7 gain, projector output and screen size need to be considered carefully. Harmony G3 is intended primarily for controlled-light environments rather than rooms where ambient-light rejection is required. Stewart FilmScreen
For a conventional speaker layout and maximum image brightness, StudioTek 130 G4 may be more appropriate. For rooms requiring significant ambient-light rejection, consider FireHawk G5.
Stewart Filmscreen at The Grid HiFi
The Grid HiFi in Houston designs complete high-performance home theaters, media rooms and private cinemas around the room rather than treating the projection screen as an isolated component.
We can specify the correct Stewart screen material, projector, lens and mounting position based on screen size, throw distance, calibrated projector output, seating distance, room lighting and desired image luminance.
With an acoustically transparent screen such as Harmony G3, we can also design the LCR speaker locations, baffle wall, subwoofer placement and acoustic treatment behind the screen, creating a true cinema-style front soundstage.
For integrated projects, The Grid can coordinate the complete video, immersive audio, theater seating, lighting, Control4 automation, networking and professional installation.
