The Stewart Filmscreen Balón Edge 120" combines an ultra-minimal fixed-frame design with Stewart’s reference-grade StudioTek 130 G4 projection surface. Designed for premium home theaters, media rooms, and professionally engineered cinema systems, Balón Edge maximizes the visible image while maintaining a clean architectural appearance.
A remarkably slim ½-inch black Velux light-absorbing border provides just enough projector overscan relief to create a crisp, defined image edge without the visual weight of a conventional projection-screen frame. StudioTek 130 G4 Reference Projection Surface
StudioTek 130 G4 is Stewart Filmscreen's fourth-generation reference projection material. Its proprietary optical coating is engineered to provide exceptional color accuracy, white-field uniformity, sharp image focus, and reduced visible sparkle while supporting the high dynamic range of modern premium projectors.
With 1.3 peak gain, StudioTek 130 G4 is approximately 30% brighter than a matte-white projection surface. It is also THX certified and designed as a reference-grade surface for installations where image fidelity is the priority. Stewart FilmScreen
120" 16:9 Cinematic Image

Balón Edge is designed for installations where the projection screen should feel integrated into the architecture rather than added to it. Its narrow black border provides the perceived contrast and overscan control of a framed screen while allowing virtually the entire front surface to be devoted to the projected image.
