At its heart, a 1.1-inch Damped Apex Dome (D.A.D.) tweeter works alongside a 6.5-inch midwoofer to reproduce music and movie soundtracks with the natural tonal character associated with Sonus faber. Satin aluminum trim frames the drivers, creating a refined appearance that reflects the brand's attention to detail.

With a shallow four-inch installation depth, paintable magnetic grille, and versatile infinite-baffle architecture, the PW-562 allows high-quality sound to become part of the home without compromising its interior design.

The PW-562 draws inspiration from the Sonetto collection, translating elements of Sonus faber's freestanding loudspeaker design into an architectural format.

Satin aluminum trim surrounds the tweeter and midwoofer, giving the speaker a sophisticated appearance that distinguishes it from conventional architectural loudspeakers.

At the center of the design is Sonus faber's D.A.D. tweeter, an important element of the company's approach to natural sound reproduction.

A Natural Fit for Custom Installation

The PW-562 was developed with practical installation requirements in mind.

Its swing-out dog mounting system allows the speaker to be secured to suitable plasterboard surfaces, simplifying installation while maintaining a clean finished appearance.

The speaker requires a rectangular cutout measuring approximately 7.6 inches wide by 11.8 inches high, with four inches of clearance behind the mounting surface.

Once installed, the frame protrudes approximately 0.47 inches from the wall.

These compact dimensions make the PW-562 a versatile option for appropriately constructed wall assemblies in both new construction and renovation projects.
