The Sonus faber Palladio PS-G101 brings serious low-frequency performance into the architecture of the room.

Designed as a 10-inch passive in-wall subwoofer, the PS-G101 is built to integrate with Sonus faber's Palladio Level 5 and Level 6 architectural loudspeakers. It delivers the foundation and scale of a dedicated subwoofer while keeping the enclosure largely out of sight.

A 10-Inch Subwoofer Behind the Wall

At the center of the PS-G101 is a 250 mm / 10-inch woofer designed specifically for in-wall installation.

The PS-G101 uses an infinite-baffle configuration, allowing the architecture behind the speaker to become part of the acoustic design rather than requiring a conventional floor-standing enclosure.

The result is a subwoofer that occupies very little visible space while providing the additional low-frequency foundation needed by a serious music or home theater system.

Designed for Palladio Level 5 and Level 6

The PS-G101 was developed specifically to complement Palladio Level 5 and Level 6 loudspeakers.

That makes it more than a generic architectural subwoofer. It is intended to function as part of a complete Palladio installation, allowing the main speakers and low-frequency system to be designed together.

For a dedicated home theater, whole-home audio system, or high-performance architectural music system, the PS-G101 provides a way to add substantial bass without introducing a conventional subwoofer cabinet into the room.

Unlike Sonus faber's Gravis subwoofers, the PS-G101 is passive and requires an external amplifier.

Built to Disappear

Palladio was designed around the idea that architectural loudspeakers should complement the room rather than compete with it.

The PS-G101 uses a magnetic, edgeless metal grille that can be painted to match the surrounding wall.

Sonus faber provides three visual configurations:

• With Rounded Grille — a softer architectural appearance
• With Squared Grille — a more geometric, integrated appearance

The grille attaches magnetically, eliminating visible mounting hardware and making the finished installation clean and discreet.

Remarkably Shallow Installation

One of the PS-G101's most compelling features is how little depth it requires.

The speaker requires only 98 mm / 3.9 inches of depth behind the finished surface, making it substantially easier to incorporate into architectural spaces where wall depth is limited.

The frame measures 310 × 310 mm / 12.2 × 12.2 inches, with a 280 × 280 mm / 11 × 11-inch cutout.

The speaker protrudes only 23 mm / 0.9 inches from the finished surface.

Fast, Secure Installation

The PS-G101 uses Palladio's swing-out dogs fixing system, allowing the speaker to be secured quickly and effectively into plasterboard.

That makes the PS-G101 suitable for both new construction and retrofit architectural projects where the installation needs to be clean and efficient.

Once installed and finished with the appropriate grille, the subwoofer becomes part of the room rather than another piece of equipment occupying floor space.
