The Sonus faber Arena S15 takes a very different approach to low-frequency performance.

Rather than placing a large subwoofer enclosure in the room, Arena S15 is engineered as an in-wall modular balanced subwoofer, delivering substantial bass performance while keeping the loudspeaker itself virtually out of sight.

Balanced Array Architecture

At the heart of the Arena S15 are four 165 mm (6.5-inch) woofers arranged as a balanced array.

Rather than relying on a single large driver, Sonus faber's patented acoustical loading uses multiple drivers to produce substantial low-frequency output from a relatively shallow in-wall installation.

The result is an architectural subwoofer capable of reaching 29 Hz, while maintaining the controlled appearance and installation flexibility expected from the Arena Collection.

Designed to Disappear

The Arena S15 is built around a simple idea: the room should be the focus, not the subwoofer.

Its zero-vibration front baffle is designed to minimize unwanted cabinet vibration and maintain a clean architectural installation.

Once installed, the S15 can be concealed behind its optional square magnetic grille, allowing the system to blend naturally into the surrounding wall.

The grille is designed to protect the speaker components without compromising the acoustic performance of the system.

With or Without the Magnetic Grille

The Arena S15 is available with an optional square magnetic grille, giving the installer flexibility depending on the desired finished appearance.

With Grille provides a clean, discreet architectural finish.

Without Grille leaves the speaker array exposed for installations where the loudspeaker itself is intended to remain visible.

Built for High-Performance Home Cinema

Arena S15 isn't simply designed to save floor space.

With 91 dB sensitivity, a 4-ohm nominal impedance, and a specified maximum output of 117 dB at 1 meter, the S15 is designed to deliver the dynamic capability required by serious home cinema systems.

Its recommended amplifier power is up to 400 watts, giving the installer the flexibility to select amplification appropriate for the overall system design.

The frequency range extends from 29 Hz to 180 Hz, allowing the S15 to provide the foundational low-frequency energy required for movie soundtracks while integrating with the rest of an Arena system.
