Created in collaboration with Maserati, this limited-edition loudspeaker brings the visual identity of the all-electric GranTurismo Folgore into the listening room. Its sculptural cabinet wears Maserati's distinctive Rame Folgore finish, while the iconic Trident emblem crowns the speaker's lute-shaped top.

Beneath its bespoke exterior lies the acoustic engineering of the Amati Homage G5. Sonus faber has retained the original loudspeaker's internal design and performance, making the Folgore a special expression of an established high-end audio platform rather than a completely different speaker.

Rame Folgore: A Finish Born on the Road

The first thing you'll notice is the color.

Rame Folgore is the distinctive copper-inspired finish developed by Maserati Fuoriserie for the electric GranTurismo Folgore. Its appearance draws on contemporary architecture and iridescent pigments, giving the surface a character that changes with the surrounding light.

Sonus faber carries this finish across the Amati's graceful cabinet, creating a visual connection between the grand tourer and the loudspeaker.

The design goes further than matching paint. The Maserati Trident appears on the cabinet's top, turning an already sculptural speaker into a recognizable expression of the collaboration.

A Different Approach to Luxury Materials

The Amati Folgore introduces a distinctive material to Sonus faber's traditional design language: ECONYL®.

This regenerated nylon material is also used in the Maserati GranTurismo Folgore's seating. On the loudspeaker, it forms a specially designed front panel with a matte surface, laser processing, and a parametric pattern.

The result contrasts with the lustrous Rame Folgore cabinet finish while reinforcing the visual relationship between the speaker and the car.

It's a thoughtful detail that gives the Folgore its own identity without abandoning the familiar proportions of the Amati.

 

The Amati G5, Unchanged Where It Matters

The Folgore's distinctive exterior surrounds the proven acoustic architecture of the Amati Homage G5. Sonus faber confirms that the internal loudspeaker design remains unchanged.

 

Its 3.5-way configuration combines four drivers with carefully engineered acoustic chambers and a sophisticated crossover.

28 mm D.A.D. Arrow Point tweeter

An extended-range soft-dome tweeter with a high-power neodymium motor handles the upper frequencies. Sonus faber's Damped Apex Dome technology is designed to control unwanted dome behavior, supporting detailed high-frequency reproduction.

150 mm dedicated midrange

A dedicated midrange driver with a neodymium magnet system reproduces the frequencies responsible for much of the character of voices and acoustic instruments.

It operates in a sealed chamber incorporating Sonus faber's Intono technology, designed to manage internal acoustic pressure.

Dual 220 mm woofers

Two substantial 8.7-inch woofers use Sonus faber's Dual Drive Motor System to deliver the low-frequency foundation.

They operate within a vented enclosure featuring the Stealth Ultraflex system, which is designed to manage airflow and reduce unwanted port noise.

Together, these technologies give the Amati Folgore the same specified frequency response as the standard Amati G5: 28 Hz to 35,000 Hz.

Its four binding posts provide separate mid/high-frequency and low-frequency connections for conventional wiring or compatible bi-wiring arrangements.
