The Samsung The Wall All-in-One 146-inch 2K Display (LH016IABMHS/GO) delivers an expansive, direct-view LED experience for luxury residences, private entertainment rooms, executive offices, and commercial environments. With a 1.68mm pixel pitch and native Full HD resolution, this large-format display creates a seamless 146-inch image without the projector, projection screen, or backlight required by conventional display systems.

Built around Samsung's premium The Wall technology, the IA016B combines Black Seal Technology, Ultra Chroma Technology, AI picture processing, and LED HDR. Its All-in-One architecture integrates the display modules, control system, speakers, and installation hardware into a coordinated solution designed to simplify large-format LED installation.

At more than 10 feet wide and nearly 6 feet tall, The Wall All-in-One creates an architectural focal point for spaces where an exceptionally large image is a central part of the design.

146-Inch Direct-View LED with 1.68mm Pixel Pitch

The Wall All-in-One uses flip-chip RGB LED technology to create its 146-inch display. Its 1.68mm pixel pitch produces a native resolution of 1920 × 1080, providing a seamless 16:9 image across a screen approximately 127 inches wide.

Unlike conventional televisions, direct-view LED displays generate their images directly from the LED modules rather than using a separate LCD panel and backlight. This construction allows The Wall to deliver a large, continuous image without the visible borders associated with tiled LCD video walls.

The 146-inch configuration is designed for environments where screen size, viewing distance, and architectural integration take priority. For applications requiring native 4K resolution at the same screen size, Samsung also offers a separate 146-inch 4K model with a finer 0.84mm pixel pitch.

Black Seal Technology

Samsung's Black Seal Technology is designed to improve black levels and enhance perceived image depth. By reducing unwanted light reflections from the display surface, it helps darker scenes retain their contrast and definition.

The IA016B has a published darkroom contrast ratio of 22,000:1, supporting detailed shadow reproduction alongside bright highlights. This is particularly valuable for cinematic content, architectural video installations, and other applications where contrast contributes significantly to the viewing experience.

Ultra Chroma Technology and LED HDR

Ultra Chroma Technology uses narrow-wavelength RGB LEDs to improve color purity. The result is more precise color reproduction across the display's substantial surface area, helping maintain the impact of high-quality video content.

Samsung's LED HDR processing enhances brightness and contrast, with support for HDR10 and HDR10+ content. Dynamic Peaking further analyzes image content to optimize brightness and emphasize highlights.

The IA016B is specified for 500 nits of typical brightness, with a published maximum brightness figure of 1,400 nits. These figures describe different operating conditions and should not be interpreted as continuous full-screen brightness.

AI Picture Processing and MICRO Motion

The Wall All-in-One incorporates Samsung's AI Picture technology to optimize incoming video for the display's large-format screen. This processing helps improve the presentation of content from different sources and resolutions.

MICRO Motion uses frame-rate conversion to present compatible 60Hz video at up to 120Hz, reducing visible judder during fast-moving scenes.

The display also features a 3,840Hz LED refresh rate. This specification refers to the LED driving system and is distinct from the video input rate and frame-rate-converted motion processing.

All-in-One Installation Architecture

The Wall All-in-One simplifies the installation process traditionally associated with large direct-view LED displays. The 146-inch configuration uses four preset installation sections and Samsung's hanging and docking system, reducing the complexity of assembling and aligning individual display modules.

The package incorporates its control hardware and speakers, along with a frame kit and decorative finishing components. The display measures approximately 127.1 inches wide, 71.6 inches tall, and just 1.9 inches deep.

Front-serviceable components provide maintenance access without requiring a service corridor behind the display. Samsung also supports side-by-side installations of up to four screens with an additional frame kit, allowing the system to accommodate certain larger-format applications.

Integrated Connectivity and System Control

The IA016B includes Samsung's Tizen 6.5 operating system and built-in display controller, reducing the need for separate processing hardware in a standard installation.

Three HDMI 2.0 inputs, DisplayPort 1.2, and two USB 2.0 ports provide connectivity for compatible video sources. HDMI eARC and stereo audio output allow the display to connect to external audio equipment, while RS-232C and RJ45 connections support professional control and network integration.

Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide additional connectivity, and Samsung's MagicINFO and VXT compatibility supports commercial content-management applications.
