Goldmund SAMADHI

Samadhi, derived from sanskrit, is the highest state of mental concentration that a person can achieve, which unites the person with the highest reality. In Hinduism and Buddhism, Samadhi is regarded as the enlightenment, the climax of all spiritual and intellectual activity. It is a state of joyful calm, or even of rapture and beatitude, in which one maintains one’s full mental alertness and acuity. This utterly absorptive experience is exactly what Samadhi wireless speakers offer. As all products in Goldmund active speaker collection, Samadhi loudspeaker was modeled with Proteus LS. This mathematical algorithm relies on several specifications including enclosure shape and volume, T&S parameters, driver localization, diffraction at box edges, to name a few. The modeling calculates the loudspeaker system in impedance, volume velocity, membrane displacement, and sound pressure anywhere in space, amplitude, phase, and group delay. Leonardo 2 time correction algorithm is implemented in the speaker DSP. Leonardo suppresses most of the crossover phase distortions by digitally realigning the signal frequencies in time. Samadhi 3-way speaker has 3 built-in Telos amplifiers and 4 drivers, totaling 700 W per speaker unit. Telos^® amplification technology significantly reduces the intermodulation by improving the linearity of all stages and considerably decreasing the time distortion.  All these technologies combined contribute to enhancing the system’s sound realism.
