The Audio Research S-200 is a high-power solid-state stereo amplifier built around a pure Class A/B, true dual-mono architecture. Dual-Mono Class A/B Design
Beyond the shared AC input, the S-200 operates as a true dual-mono amplifier. Separate toroidal transformers and muscular linear power supplies provide each channel with dedicated power, supporting strong current delivery and channel separation. audioresearch.com
Bipolar Output Transistors
Audio Research selected bipolar transistors rather than MOSFETs for the S-200. The amplifier maintains less than 0.1% THD from 0.25 watt through rated output, with a damping factor of 300 for firm loudspeaker control. audioresearch.com
Modern Audio Research Design
The machined aluminum chassis is available in black or silver anodized finishes, with custom heat sinks and no visible fasteners across the front or top. Do you price match?

Do you offer free shipping?

Where is your showroom?
We're at 6362 Alder Drive, Houston, Texas. The showroom lets you hear and compare reference-level systems in person before making any decisions. If you're considering a larger purchase or installation, it's well worth the visit.
Can I buy online without visiting the showroom?
Yes. The full product range is available through the online store with free nationwide shipping. For more complex system builds, speaking with one of our advisers first tends to lead to a better result.
Do you offer financing?
