Refined with cutting-edge technology, the S-05XE sets a new standard for Class A stereo amplifiers. It delivers the transparency and precision unique to Class A amplifiers, combined with the dynamic scale characteristic of Esoteric products. Experience a deep, three-dimensional soundstage.
Inheriting the design philosophy of the Grandioso S1X, this 30 W per channel Class A amplifier embodies the "aesthetics of subtraction" through advanced engineering down to the finest detail. A simple, straightforward circuit design enables rich harmonic reproduction while reducing internal impedance for effortless speaker control. The newly designed “Fully Symmetrical Balanced Input Buffer Amplifier” further enhances signal purity.
The soundstage expands seemingly without limit and the key lies in its powerful power supply architecture.
The S-05XE maintains its large-scale, dual-mono configuration across all stages, including the power supply smoothing circuit. It now incorporates a large toroidal core power transformer with a 1,000 VA power supply capacity. The power supply smoothing circuit has been updated with numerous unique technologies, producing a thrilling, scaled-up sound.
