DALI RUBIKORE CINEMA – High-End LCR Home Theater Speaker

Product Description

The DALI RUBIKORE CINEMA is a high-performance home theater loudspeaker designed to deliver the detail, dynamics and tonal refinement of high-end HiFi across the front soundstage. Engineered for left, center and right (LCR) channel applications, it combines two 6½-inch Clarity Cone drivers with DALI's rotatable hybrid tweeter module in a versatile cabinet that can be positioned horizontally or vertically.

Drawing on technologies developed for DALI's flagship KORE loudspeaker, the RUBIKORE CINEMA incorporates Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) motor systems, advanced driver diaphragms and audiophile-grade Mundorf crossover capacitors. Its flexible design makes it suitable for dedicated private cinemas and sophisticated living-room theaters where consistent front-channel performance is essential.

KORE-Inspired Clarity Cone and SMC Technology

Two 6½-inch bass/midrange drivers featuring DALI's Clarity Cone technology form the foundation of the RUBIKORE CINEMA's acoustic design.

Inspired by the flagship KORE, the Clarity Cone diaphragms are engineered to control unwanted resonances and preserve natural midrange reproduction. DALI's proprietary SMC motor technology reduces magnetic distortion and associated losses, helping the speaker reproduce dialogue, musical detail and demanding movie soundtracks with clarity.

The dual-driver configuration provides the dynamic capability needed for ambitious home theater systems while retaining a cabinet compact enough for a wide range of residential installations.

Rotatable Hybrid Tweeter for LCR Flexibility

The RUBIKORE CINEMA features DALI's hybrid tweeter module, combining a 29mm soft-dome tweeter with a 17 × 45mm planar high-frequency driver.

Its rotatable design allows the speaker to be installed horizontally as a center channel or vertically as a left or right front speaker, maintaining the intended tweeter orientation in either configuration.

Using identical RUBIKORE CINEMA speakers across all three front channels can help maintain consistent tonal character as dialogue, music and sound effects move across the screen. The design also allows greater flexibility when positioning speakers around large televisions or projection screens.

Audiophile-Grade Mundorf Crossover Components

The RUBIKORE CINEMA incorporates audiophile-grade Mundorf capacitors in its crossover network, extending DALI's attention to component quality beyond the drivers themselves.

Its 2 + ½-way crossover design integrates the dual Clarity Cone drivers with the hybrid tweeter module at crossover frequencies of 2,800Hz and 14,000Hz.

The crossover is engineered to maintain a cohesive presentation across the speaker's operating range, supporting clear dialogue, detailed musical reproduction and the dynamic transitions found in cinematic soundtracks.

Designed for Dedicated Home Theaters

With a published frequency response of 49Hz–34kHz, 89dB sensitivity and a maximum sound pressure level of 111dB, the RUBIKORE CINEMA is designed for demanding multichannel applications.

Its recommended amplifier power range of 40–200 watts and 4-ohm nominal impedance make appropriate amplifier selection important, particularly when building a system with three identical front-channel speakers.

For dedicated theaters, pairing the RUBIKORE CINEMA with capable amplification, suitable subwoofers and proper room calibration can create a cohesive front soundstage with the dynamic range required for movie soundtracks and concert recordings.

Handcrafted Danish Cabinet

Designed, developed and manufactured in Denmark, the RUBIKORE CINEMA combines traditional Danish cabinet craftsmanship with modern acoustic engineering.

Its rigid, low-resonance enclosure accommodates both horizontal and vertical placement, while three available finishes allow the speaker to complement a variety of interior designs.

Each loudspeaker is individually crafted, assembled and tested at DALI's Danish production facilities, with locally sourced components used wherever possible.
