DALI RUBIKORE 8 – High-End Floorstanding Speakers (each)

Product Description

The DALI RUBIKORE 8 is a high-performance Danish floorstanding loudspeaker designed for listeners who want the scale, dynamics and refinement of a reference stereo system. Drawing on technologies developed for DALI's flagship KORE loudspeaker, the RUBIKORE 8 combines three 6½-inch Clarity Cone drivers, a hybrid tweeter module and an advanced crossover in a meticulously crafted cabinet.

Its powerful driver configuration delivers substantial bass authority, articulate midrange reproduction and detailed high frequencies, making the RUBIKORE 8 particularly suited to larger listening rooms, high-end two-channel audio systems and premium home theaters. Each loudspeaker is designed, assembled and individually tested in Denmark.

KORE-Inspired Driver Technology

At the heart of the RUBIKORE 8 are three 6½-inch Clarity Cone drivers incorporating DALI's Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) technology. Inspired by the flagship KORE, these drivers are engineered to minimize unwanted distortion while maintaining precise control over bass and midrange reproduction.

The Clarity Cone diaphragm design helps control unwanted resonances, allowing the drivers to reproduce musical detail with greater clarity. Working together, the three drivers provide the displacement and dynamic capability needed to fill larger listening spaces without sacrificing midrange articulation.

DALI's SMC-KORE inductors are incorporated into the crossover network, extending the company's low-distortion design approach beyond the drivers themselves.

DALI Hybrid Tweeter Module

The RUBIKORE 8 features DALI's hybrid tweeter system, combining a 29mm soft-dome tweeter with a 17 × 45mm planar high-frequency driver.

The newly developed ferrofluid-free, low-loss dome tweeter handles the lower treble frequencies, while the planar element extends high-frequency reproduction and contributes to the loudspeaker's wide dispersion.

Together, they create an expansive soundstage with detailed treble reproduction, natural vocal presentation and consistent sound across a broad listening area. The wide-dispersion design also reduces the need to aim the speakers directly toward a single listening position.

Continuous-Flare Bass Reflex System

DALI equips the RUBIKORE 8 with Continuous-Flare bass reflex ports, a technology developed to optimize airflow through the cabinet.

By reducing turbulence and unwanted port noise, the design helps the three 6½-inch drivers produce controlled, extended bass while maintaining clarity during demanding musical passages.

With a published frequency response of 38Hz to 34kHz and a maximum sound pressure level of 112dB, the RUBIKORE 8 is designed to reproduce both the subtle detail and large dynamic contrasts of music and movie soundtracks.

Handcrafted Danish Cabinet

The RUBIKORE 8 reflects DALI's Danish loudspeaker manufacturing heritage, combining traditional cabinet craftsmanship with modern acoustic engineering.

Its extensively braced enclosure provides a rigid, low-resonance foundation for the drivers. The cabinet's proportions accommodate the three-woofer configuration while maintaining an elegant appearance suited to contemporary and traditional interiors.

Each speaker is handcrafted, assembled and tested at DALI's production facilities in Denmark, using locally sourced components wherever possible.

Designed for Reference Stereo and Home Theater

The RUBIKORE 8 is equally suited to a dedicated two-channel listening system or the front channels of an ambitious home theater.

Its 90.5dB sensitivity, 4-ohm nominal impedance and recommended amplifier power range of 40–250 watts make amplifier selection an important part of system design. Paired with appropriate high-performance electronics, the RUBIKORE 8 offers the dynamic range, tonal detail and scale required for demanding music collections and cinematic soundtracks.

At The Grid HiFi, we can help match the RUBIKORE 8 with suitable amplification, digital and analog sources, cabling and room acoustics to create a complete high-end audio system.
