DALI RUBIKORE 2 – High-End Bookshelf Speakers (each)

Product Description

The DALI RUBIKORE 2 is a high-end bookshelf speaker that brings technologies inspired by DALI's flagship KORE loudspeaker to a compact stand-mount design. Engineered and handcrafted in Denmark, it combines a 6½-inch Clarity Cone SMC driver with a newly developed 29mm soft-dome tweeter to deliver detailed midrange reproduction, precise bass and an expansive soundstage.

Designed for smaller and medium-sized listening rooms, the RUBIKORE 2 offers the musical refinement of a premium two-channel system without requiring the space of a floorstanding loudspeaker. Its sophisticated driver technology, low-resonance cabinet and carefully engineered bass reflex system make it equally at home in a dedicated listening room or an elegant living space.

KORE-Inspired Clarity Cone Technology

The RUBIKORE 2 features a 6½-inch paper and wood-fibre Clarity Cone driver incorporating DALI's proprietary Soft Magnetic Compound (SMC) technology.

Inspired by the flagship DALI KORE, the Clarity Cone diaphragm is engineered to control unwanted resonances while preserving the detail and dynamic character of musical recordings. SMC technology reduces distortion within the driver's magnetic system, contributing to clean, articulate reproduction across the bass and midrange frequencies.

This combination allows the RUBIKORE 2 to deliver substantial low-frequency performance and natural vocal reproduction from a relatively compact enclosure.

Newly Developed 29mm Soft-Dome Tweeter

Unlike the larger RUBIKORE floorstanding models, which use DALI's hybrid tweeter module, the RUBIKORE 2 features a single 29mm ultra-low-loss soft-dome tweeter.

Its lightweight, ferrofluid-free design is engineered for detailed high-frequency reproduction and wide dispersion. The result is an open, spacious presentation that maintains tonal consistency across a broad listening area.

The two-way driver configuration integrates the soft-dome tweeter with the Clarity Cone mid/bass driver through a crossover operating at 2,800Hz.

Continuous-Flare Bass Reflex

DALI equips the RUBIKORE 2 with a Continuous-Flare bass reflex port, a design inspired by its flagship KORE loudspeaker.

The port geometry is engineered to promote smooth airflow and reduce unwanted turbulence, helping the speaker deliver controlled bass with precise timing. Combined with the 6½-inch Clarity Cone driver, the system achieves a published frequency response of 50Hz to 26kHz.

For listeners who want high-end stereo performance in a smaller room, this combination provides satisfying low-frequency extension without the footprint of a larger floorstanding speaker.

Danish Cabinet Design and Craftsmanship

The RUBIKORE 2 is designed, developed and manufactured in Denmark, reflecting DALI's long-standing emphasis on loudspeaker engineering and traditional Danish cabinet-making.

Its internally braced enclosure provides a rigid, low-resonance foundation for the drivers. The compact proportions make it suitable for dedicated speaker stands, shelves or furniture-based installations, while four available finishes allow it to complement a range of interior designs.

Each loudspeaker is individually crafted, assembled and tested at DALI's Danish production facilities, using locally sourced components wherever possible.

High-End Sound for Smaller Listening Spaces

With 87dB sensitivity, a 4-ohm nominal impedance and a recommended amplifier power range of 40–150 watts, the RUBIKORE 2 is designed to partner with capable integrated amplifiers and high-performance stereo electronics.

Its wide-dispersion characteristics make it well suited to intimate listening environments, where accurate imaging and a spacious soundstage are essential. The RUBIKORE 2 can also serve as part of a premium multichannel system when paired with complementary DALI loudspeakers.

Whether you're building a dedicated two-channel system or upgrading the audio in a living room, the RUBIKORE 2 offers KORE-inspired engineering in a versatile stand-mount format.
