Overview

Rotel A10MKII Integrated Amplifier

The Rotel A10MKII Integrated Amplifier is a pure analog Class AB amplifier built for straightforward, high-quality two-channel listening. Delivering 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 60 watts per channel into 4 ohms, it combines a Rotel-built toroidal transformer, high-current linear power supply, Moving Magnet phono stage, three RCA line-level inputs, headphone amplifier, and remote-controlled analog volume in a slim full-width chassis. Rotel

With no internal DAC, streaming platform, or Bluetooth circuitry, the A10MKII concentrates on analog sources and amplification—making it an excellent foundation for a turntable-based system or a modern streamer equipped with quality analog outputs.

50-Watt Class AB Amplification

The A10MKII delivers 50 watts per channel into 8 ohms, increasing to 60 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Rotel specifies total harmonic distortion and intermodulation distortion at less than 0.03%. Rotel

A 120 damping factor contributes to loudspeaker control, while the amplifier's ability to increase output into a 4-ohm load gives it useful flexibility when matching bookshelf and floorstanding speakers.

Rotel-Built Toroidal Transformer

At the center of the A10MKII is a substantial Rotel-manufactured toroidal power transformer feeding a linear high-current power supply. Rotel manufactures its toroidal transformers in-house rather than sourcing a generic off-the-shelf unit. Rotel

The power supply is a significant part of the A10MKII's design, supporting the transient current demands of the Class AB output stage while maintaining a low electrical noise floor.

Moving Magnet Phono Stage

Vinyl listeners can connect a compatible turntable directly to the dedicated Moving Magnet phono input, eliminating the need for a separate phono preamplifier.

The MM input provides 1.5 mV sensitivity, 43kΩ input impedance, 50 mV overload capability, and a specified frequency response of 20 Hz–20 kHz, -0.5/+0.3 dB. Rotel

Pure Analog Connectivity

Alongside its MM phono input, the A10MKII provides three RCA line-level inputs for a CD player, tuner, streamer, external DAC, or other analog source. Rotel

This is intentionally an analog integrated amplifier. Customers who want streaming can simply pair it with a dedicated network streamer, allowing the streaming platform to be upgraded independently of the amplifier.

Headphone Amplifier & Hands-On Controls

A front-panel 1/8-inch headphone output with a dedicated headphone amplifier circuit provides private listening directly from the A10MKII. Rotel

Rotary Bass, Treble, and Balance controls provide immediate adjustment without menus or apps. Bass and treble offer ±6 dB adjustment at 100 Hz and 10 kHz, while a motorized analog volume control allows volume adjustment from the supplied IR remote. Rotel
