REFERENCE Nordost Valhalla 2 110 Ohm Digital Interconnect – AES/EBU XLR
The Nordost Valhalla 2 110 Ohm Digital Interconnect is a reference-grade AES/EBU digital audio cable engineered for precise signal transmission between high-performance digital components. Designed around the strict impedance requirements of professional and high-end digital audio, it maintains a true 110 Ohm impedance and uses Nordost’s advanced construction technologies to minimize signal degradation.
Valhalla 2 features two 18 AWG silver-plated 99.999999% OFC solid-core conductors arranged in a mechanically tuned twin-axial design. Nordost’s proprietary Dual Mono-Filament technology reduces dielectric contact by more than 85%, while two layers of silver-plated shielding provide 98% total shield coverage.
The cable is terminated with gold-plated true 110 Ohm HOLO:PLUG® XLR connectors, helping maintain consistent impedance throughout the signal path.
