Overview
AudioQuest PowerQuest 505 is a high-performance power conditioner with 12 AC outlets (4 High-Current outlets for amplifiers and 8 Linear-Filtered outlets for source components), a 2m detachable AC power cable featuring ZERO-Tech and RF/ND-Tech, and 2RU rack ears for simple rack-mounting. Engineered with advanced power filtration, the PowerQuest 505 removes significantly more noise and distortion than typical power conditioners, helping your system perform at its best. With non-sacrificial surge protection, the PQ-505 goes beyond traditional surge protectors. It safeguards against high voltage and current, preventing damage to your equipment and ensuring the device’s long-term reliability. The Extreme Voltage Shutdown feature activates the main power circuit relay in less than 0.25 seconds at 140VAC and automatically resets once power returns to a safe level. Built to endure rigorous 6000V/3000A input surge tests, the PQ-505 can withstand multiple surges at the highest level that a building’s AC panel can survive, offering reliable protection without components wearing out over time.
