Custom Ceramic Drivers

The Oscar Duo features a 1-inch ceramic tweeter paired with a custom-designed 7-inch ceramic bass/midrange driver.

Ceramic is extremely light and rigid, allowing the drivers to respond quickly while minimizing unwanted distortion. Marten developed these drivers specifically for the Oscar series to maintain the speed, transparency, and natural presentation found throughout its loudspeaker lineup.

Despite its compact dimensions, the Oscar Duo delivers bass extension down to an impressive 37 Hz.

Second-Order Crossover

Marten uses a carefully designed second-order crossover to preserve dynamics and detail while seamlessly integrating the two ceramic drivers.

Premium components include copper-foil air-core coils, silver/gold capacitors, Supreme resistors, and Jorma internal cabling.

Built Like a Marten

The Oscar Duo cabinet is constructed from 25mm fiberboard, providing a rigid and stable platform for the drivers while controlling unwanted resonance.

Internal wiring is supplied by Jorma, handmade in Sweden and selected for its natural and transparent performance.

An optional magnetic grille is also available, providing a clean appearance without compromising the minimalist design of the loudspeaker.

Dedicated Marten Stand

Marten designed a dedicated stand specifically for the Oscar Duo, using a rigid triple-pillar design to provide stability while maintaining the speaker's clean aesthetic.

Standard spikes provide mechanical isolation, while Marten Isolators developed with IsoAcoustics are available as an upgrade for even greater control of resonance and vibration.
