Nordost White Lightning 3 Tonearm Cable – Leif 3 Series
The Nordost White Lightning 3 Tonearm Cable is designed specifically for vinyl playback, carrying the delicate low-level signal from your phono cartridge while minimizing interference, hum, and channel crosstalk. As part of Nordost’s Leif 3 Series, it provides an excellent entry point for upgrading the connection between a turntable and phono stage.
White Lightning 3 uses four 26 AWG silver-plated 99.9999% OFC solid-core conductors, arranged as two individually shielded twisted pairs to create isolated left and right channels. A dedicated ground wire featuring Nordost’s Micro Mono-Filament technology helps reduce hum and maintain a quiet background for improved clarity and detail. (Nordost)

The White Lightning 3 Tonearm Cable is available with MoonGlo® straight or 90° low-mass 5-pin DIN, RCA, or XLR connectors, allowing it to accommodate a wide range of turntables, tonearms, and phono stages. (Nordost)
For systems requiring a 90° MoonGlo DIN connector, the appropriate DIN pin orientation should be specified when ordering.

A phono cartridge produces a very low-level signal, making shielding and grounding especially important.
