Overview

Nordost Valhalla 2 Tonearm Cable +

The Nordost Valhalla 2 Tonearm Cable + is a reference-grade phono cable engineered to preserve the extremely delicate signal traveling from a turntable cartridge to a phono stage. Its specialized construction combines advanced shielding, ultra-pure conductors, and Nordost’s proprietary technologies to minimize noise, crosstalk, and signal loss in high-performance analog systems.

Four 24 AWG silver-plated 99.999999% OFC solid-core conductors are arranged as two individually shielded twisted pairs for the left and right channels. Nordost’s Dual Mono-Filament technology reduces conductor contact with the FEP insulation by approximately 85%, creating an effective air dielectric that contributes to increased signal speed and mechanical damping.

The Tonearm Cable + also incorporates a separately shielded 24 AWG silver-plated bond wire using Micro Mono-Filament technology, along with two detachable ground whips. This versatile grounding system is designed to help minimize unwanted noise across different turntable, tonearm, and phono-stage configurations.
