Nordost Valhalla 2 Ethernet Cable
The Nordost Valhalla 2 Ethernet Cable is a reference-level network cable engineered for high-performance digital audio systems, music servers, network streamers, and other audiophile network components. Designed to provide exceptional bandwidth, precise timing, and reliable high-speed data transmission, Valhalla 2 brings Nordost’s advanced cable technology into the digital streaming environment.
Eight 23 AWG solid-core copper conductors are arranged into four twisted pairs and individually protected with high-density polymer insulation. Nordost’s fully shielded triple-braid construction helps minimize crosstalk, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and other unwanted noise that can compromise network performance.
Nordost also applies its proprietary mechanical tuning process, precisely controlling conductor lengths to reduce internal microphony, high-frequency resonance, and timing errors. Specialized gold-plated 8P8C/RJ45 connectors provide resistance to EMI and electrostatic discharge (ESD), while the cable's performance meets Category 8 requirements.
