Overview
Nordost Tyr 2 Power Cord – Norse 2 Series
The Nordost Tyr 2 Power Cord is the flagship power cable in Nordost’s Norse 2 Series, incorporating technology derived from the company’s Reference-level Valhalla 2 range. Designed for demanding high-end audio systems, Tyr 2 provides an extremely low-resistance connection for efficient power transfer while minimizing electrical and mechanical interference.
Unlike Heimdall 2 and Frey 2, Tyr 2 utilizes Nordost’s more advanced Dual Mono-Filament technology. Seven 16 AWG silver-plated 99.99999% solid-core OFC conductors are combined with FEP insulation and mechanically tuned construction to reduce dielectric interaction, internal microphonics, and high-frequency impedance resonance.

The Tyr 2 Power Cord offers a wide range of termination options:
