Overview
Nordost Tyr 2 Digital Interconnects – 75 Ohm & 110 Ohm | Norse 2 Series
The Nordost Tyr 2 Digital Interconnects are premium digital audio cables from the Norse 2 Series, engineered for precise impedance matching, extremely wide bandwidth, and accurate digital signal transmission. Tyr 2 is available in both 75 Ohm S/PDIF and 110 Ohm AES/EBU versions, allowing you to select the proper interface for your digital source and DAC.
Both versions use silver-plated 99.99999% solid-core OFC conductors, Nordost’s patented Dual Mono-Filament technology, precision FEP insulation, and mechanically tuned lengths. These technologies are designed to maintain consistent impedance while reducing internal microphonics and high-frequency impedance resonance. (Nordost)

Which Version Do You Need?
Choose 75 Ohm S/PDIF for digital coaxial connections using BNC or RCA. The standard termination is BNC, and Nordost includes a BNC-to-RCA adapter for components equipped with RCA digital inputs or outputs.
Choose 110 Ohm AES/EBU for high-end audio components equipped with balanced XLR digital connections. Its twin-axial construction and true 110 Ohm XLR termination are designed to maintain consistent impedance across the entire signal path. (Nordost)
