Overview
Nordost Sort Lift – Cable Support & Resonance Control System
The Nordost Sort Lift is a premium cable-support system designed to elevate speaker cables, power cords, and interconnects off the floor while minimizing physical contact with the cable. As part of Nordost’s Sort System, it uses a proprietary Floating Spring System to reduce boundary effects and electrical interference without negatively affecting the cable’s natural resonance characteristics.
Each Sort Lift combines a stable anodized-aluminum base with flexible titanium-alloy spring wire coated in FEP. The design helps inhibit the transfer of electrical charge from the floor to the cable while reducing static buildup on the cable dielectric.
