Nordost Sort Kone – Resonance Control System

The Nordost Sort Kone is a directly coupled, mechanically tuned resonance-control device designed to improve the mechanical grounding of sensitive HiFi electronics. Rather than simply isolating equipment from outside vibration, Sort Kones are engineered to provide a controlled mechanical path for unwanted resonance generated inside the component itself, including vibration from transformers, power supplies, capacitors, and active circuitry.

Placed beneath components such as amplifiers, preamplifiers, DACs, streamers, CD players, and power products, Sort Kones are designed to improve mechanical stability and help reveal greater focus, transparency, depth, dynamic range, and musical detail.
